Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana, an initiative of the Chhattisgarh government, provides government services to urban citizens at home. The scheme has resulted in about 41 thousand appointments being booked by citizens in order to receive their government documents at home. Information related to documents is being given to the citizens on the toll-free number (14545). The Municipal Administration Development Department, under the direction of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, started the home access service 'Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana' on May 1, 2022, to facilitate the availability of government documents to citizens of all 14 municipal corporations of the state.
Services received under Mitan Yojana include Domicile Certificate, caste certificate of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, Income Certificate, copy of the land record, land information (land use), death certificate, marriage registration, and certificate. Documents related to letters, birth certificates or corrections, and shop establishment registration can be obtained from Mitan Seva. Similarly, death certificate correction, marriage certificate correction, Aadhaar card registration (for children up to 5 years) Aadhaar card address, and mobile number correction can be obtained from Mitan seva at home. This service saves people time, money, and labor, as well as eliminates the need to visit government offices for certificates. As a result, of the Mitan Yojana, civic facilities have expanded in Chhattisgarh, and Mitan services are making it easier to access these facilities.
